600ho card bog/tuning help

I have a 06 600ho Carb switchback. I have ride at about 1000-2000 feet. I gutted my air box for easy of install and rejected to fix all the black snow it was leavening. I tried the 0.9 air jets which helped but was still too rich. But now with the jets and the gutted air box I have a small bog just off of idle at about 4500 RPM and about 1/8 throttle. I am not show if it’s the gutted air box or the 0.9 air jet that did it. If the throttle is held there for a little bit and then I go to full throttle it hesitates and then runs fine. If I go full throttle right from idle it's fine too. Once I am past 1/4 or about 5500 rpm it fine. I have not tried to see if I hold it at the problem area what the plugs look like but I think it running rich because I have heard back fires from the exhaust a few times after holding the throttle there. My local dealer said to drop down to 40 pilots and 410 mains from 50 pilots and 420 mains. This weekend there was no change with the problem area. Although the black snow is now gone and everything else is better. The needle is on second from the top what else do I need to change to make it run right. The rest of the motor is stock.

I am not 100% sure, adding half choke make no differants. Being Lean would make sence because I did nothing to add fuel only more air. Where is the fuel screw located? on what side of the carbs? I thought I reminber that there is a page that said what did what on a snowmobile carb but can't remimber where.
