600 or 800 turbo pro??

My 660 went everywhere the 800's went and on the flats it was actually faster than my 800 but it never had the low end of the 800 and was much harder to ride in the tight trees because you were always pinned. The 600 and 660 run well but momentum is your friend. Sometimes too much momentum caused a much more spectacular crash.

I would also disagree with the guys that say the 660's run like an 800...IMO they dont. My Carls660 ran nothing like an 800 prior to the turbo. It was a little faster on the trail but in the deep snow it was no comparison. Thats why it had the turbo.IMO people buy 600's hoping they run better than they do and then spend thousands trying to get them to...but in the end folks almost always end up with an 800:face-icon-small-coo

ha ha that is so true.

i know that mine wont hang head to head with an 800T but id say most of the time i'll be able to get where they get and have a blast doing it. i've had a couple 685's and they are really fast but its hard to completely overcome the displacement. After we broke (3) 800 cranks in 2 years (2004-2005 seasons) the trade off was worth it though!

You will have a lot of fun with the 600 turbo meathooker. Will you beat the 800 turbo maybe not but you won't be very far behind. I have a 800 boondocker turbo on my 800 while cooperman has the silber turbo in his 600 And i was surprised just how close he really is. We don't do very much boon docking yet but do a lot of hill climbing and if we are both set up the same with suspension and both weight the same and run say 8 pounds of boost each he is usually within 20-30 ft of my highmark. Now say if he turns his boost up to 10 pounds and I run mine at 7 pounds then they are nearly equal. He ran up agaisnt a couple other 800 turbo sleds but have no idea what boost there were running and he had no problem with taking the high mark from them but again we don't know how the 800 were setup. So you will be happy.

What the title says. Just want to see what your thoughts are and what would you choose. Want to hear from guys that have turbo there 600's. I think a 600 turbo would be a fun sled to have. What would be more reliable? Sorry if this has been brought up already!!

I run a 2012 600 with aerocharger 53 series and at 10 pounds of boost and running 50/50 mix with av gas and 91 at 6000 ft to 8000 ft and the sled is unreal. 215 hp all day turning 8350 Rpms the sled has been flawless and the thing I like the most about the 600 is I have a lot of friends running the 800 and a lot have had motor troubles or blown motors the 600 has never had any problems and the harmonics of the motor are so much less that's why I think they are the best and I'm on second year we'll over 1000 miles still on stock pistons

Good to here there are a few turbo 600 out there. Its all speculation until they see the lil 600 perform. Usually they keep asking, thats only a 600?
Extremely fun to ride.

Any more updates now that you guys have had some more time to ring them out? Went up against any 800 T's?

I wonder if a guy could run some more compression and good fuel to help with the bottom end?

We have done quite a few 600's . I really like them. Compared to the 800 the only place they won't hang is on a long steep climb where torque comes into play. But other the. That very fun sleds to ride and have fun on.

We get the same questions as everyone else..... That's a 600? No way!!
