That'd odd. Were the hinges opening up, allowing the goggle to sit further back in the helmet? So there was an actual gab between the edge of the goggles on your face?
The shape of your face really does come into play. We've shipped tons and tons of these goggles and I can probably count on both hands the number of people who have given us feedback that the fit wasn't ideal. Seems there are a small percentage of people with certain helmet combo's that don't jive well with the 509's. Keep the feedback coming, and we'll roll out new features to make these work perfectly with as many people as possible.[/QUOTE]

Hey Tom, you know what's interesting is that I let my son wear my other pair of 509's and they seemed to fit him much better. He has a different helmet. He thought that they were the best goggles that he has used. Most people say that we look quite a bit alike (poor fugger!) and our facial "dimensions" would be quite similar. I checked the hinges and they seemed to be functioning properly. I'm going to be experimenting some more and will continiue with feedback. Yes, the outside edges allowed air in. We both agreed that a nose piece is a must, even with the breath deflector on the helmet.
