509 Black Ops goggles!

Two minutes with an exacto knife, cut the threads on the leather portion and remove from the strap. Now I have two nice 509 leather and bronze emblems that I have no ideawhat to do with, but my googles rock! The weight no longer becomes an excuse for not getting these goggles.
haha i was being sarcastic. i wanna try some polarized ones badly! i need a new helmet too! grr! too much all at one time.

so in all of the ads that i have seen for these, they have a flat black look to the lenses. Now that i see real pics of them, they just look like smoked lenses.
How will the black/smoked lenses work in all light conditions? Am I to assume that the polarized lense is all you need for all riding conditions? or do people want these just because they are cool?
I need new goggles and have tried all colors but it seems that you need more than one lense to do it all....dont know what to buy?

I got me a set of these too. 
They are SWEET!! I like the emblem on the strap...looks nice, and it's staying on!! I also picked up a pair of the Pink Sinisters....beautiful! 
Love the goggle cases (no more squished spare goggles in my backpack).
I'm excited as heck to get out and try everything. Really excited to try the fan out. I'll get some pics soon.
I also have to say this was an incredible online purchase. I had email all along the way so I knew what was up. Shipping was fast, and everything packed very well. Couldn't be happier with everything. Nice to receive this kind of excellent service...thanks much Tom/509!!

For helmet size fittings....I'm a 6 7/8th size hat...and the large fits me a bit loose but IS wearable for me. I'd like to try on a medium just to see. I'm sure I'll keep the large. Every melon is different, so ya never know what will fit till you try.
I thought maybe the Black Ops would be just slightly darker (I could see my eyes when I looked at them in the mirror)...but still killer goggles and the nose piece will be VERY nice on cold days.
The Aviators are SAWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm going to love both sets of goggles. I already do!!!!

I picked a pair of these goggles and a matte black helmet from Tom at the boise show, I have to say they are incredible, I have never seen a goggle and helmet fit together so well, I love these so much I ordered another pair from their website.
