509 Black Ops goggles!

Silly, of course not. How would you expect him to hold his head still AND hold the camera still in his hand at the same time. :face-icon-small-coo

lol I know I was jokin

and how many goggles do you usually bring along with you?
and what types?

I was thinking about having a clear one, a set of aviators and another one maybe?

I always have 3 pairs with me. A pair for sunny weather, a pair for low light and also a clear pair for the ride back at night. Been doing this for years and it works great. Plus when I screw up and get a pair all fogged (or iced) up I have a back-up pair all ready to go.

got mine a few weeks ago and absolutely love them. fit the new helmet great and now i have my other sinisters as a back up with a different lense and for if i ever fog them up. wouldnt have any other type of goggle as i have tried scotts oakleys and everything else under the sun and all with the same effect, cant see. 509 goggles rock

Nice looking eye wear! My questions, how much do they coast? Are they over priced?

Polarized goggles run the gammet from as low as 75$ to well over 200$

So for just under a hundo they seem priced fair?

Never sledded with polarized goggles so I can't wait to get these out on a sunny powder day!

Tom with the new goggles in their helmet.

Nice fit.

got some new stuff set up for this year.....won't be long now!

Toms been more than generous...but I see it as more of the "chicken and the egg" situation.

Did the goggles make the video look cool or the video make the goggles look cool?

Any way you slice it...it's a win win.....cool goggles and a cool video. :D

thats a very positive way of looking at it. most people have the "whats in it for me" attitude.

You might be suprised and find out you have better vision in most light conditions with polarized goggles. Your eyes seem to relax more behind them and increase your vision.

I'm with you on this. I know I prefer my polarized shades over any of my other ones, so these ought to rock! :)

Get a set of light-sensative (polarized) ones.... you will thank yourself. The pair I have I wear from the time we unload at 10 AM till we get back in the dark... super dark during the day to keep your eyes happy, and crystal clear at night:D

BTW, Those things look killer!

Will these goggles fit over glasses???
I would love to try a pair if they did.

Right off the 509 website....

[Q] I wear glasses, are 509 goggles compatible?[A] 509 goggles are not true "OTG" style frames. That being said many sledders use our goggles over their glasses. It depends entirely on the shape and size of your glasses frame. We offer a completely satisfaction guarantee, so give them a shot and if they don't work out we'll refund you entirely.

Two minutes with an exacto knife, cut the threads on the leather portion and remove from the strap. Now I have two nice 509 leather and bronze emblems that I have no idea :noidea:what to do with, but my googles rock! The weight no longer becomes an excuse for not getting these goggles.:nono:
