42" to 36" shock length?

I know everyone was doing the 38 to 36 swap like 5 years ago so this is probably an old question. Ive got a XF high country 153, gonna swap from the wide 42" stance to 36", I have the zero QS3, which I really like but can you just add the spacers for the shocks or do I need all new shocks?

With that much a of difference you will need to have the shocks cut, or get a new set.

you can only shorten the shocks (spacer) to account for 2" of narrowing. anything over 2" you need new shocks
