4" paddle track?

A local kid (with lots of money) was spouting off the other day about how good his buddy's (also with lots of money) apex that has hooking up. He said it had a 4" deep paddle track on it. Is there such a thing? I have heard of a 3" but not a 4" paddles. I questioned it and he goes off on how it is 4" tall paddles.

My thoughts are that he heard 4 pitch and thought 4" paddles. But I could be wrong.

So my question is does a 4" deep paddle track exist?

Thanks, MtnDoo

hah, hes just another idiot who doesnt have any idea what hes talking about, there are only a few prototype 3" tracks floating around, probably just a 2.5" camo extereme like almost everybody runs on there T-Apex. Im assuming its turbod because of (also with lots of money)

any sled that can sping the track speed they can seems like it has 4" lugs.

sorta like this kids around here claims he just dynoed his M7 ahd 220 horse on nitrous, stock is 140, an 80 shot aint bad eh??

220 hp is not out of the question on N2O just not with a stock motor.

LOL... i just seen that other thread. i have money... my friend has money... my cat has money... the guy that pumped my gas on Oct14 has money.

i think i heard somethin about these 4" tracks. i thought i read somewhere that they was gonna be factory on the new XPs but then doo realized since the XP could already climb any mountain better than any other sled out there including turbos they decided to scrap the idea to keep things somewhat fair. anyone else hear this?;):D

I put the 17" wide on the wifes Edge chassis but had to trim 3/8 of an inch out of the center to make it fit.

Holycow that is cheap man!!!!!! $900 for a 3" 162 - wow, good job!!!!! At that price I'm almost tempted to buy one for my mod sled. :) I know you are in CowTown too as well, might have to come by and have a look.
