4-2-2011 how was RE today.

Sometimes you gotta be out in it to enjoy it. Temps dropped below 20 so should stay fluffy through at least tomorrow.

Skibreeze on his new tbo Pro Pol. Pretty much has one speed. lol

Boston Racing on the tbo 600 dragon. Sled runs like a raped ape. Converted to EFI using an old Pol EFI computer from 1969 or something...then t-boed!

Sled looks good PJ, Bushy you staying the night up there? Gary and I will be up in the AM.

Did you put it on?

How you liking the new bumper...looks thinner than I expected.

Yeah, it took dang near all day and I still didn't get all the pieces on. I ran out of tacky spray.

Both bumpers are way better than stock. Dave has the same one. Not scared to put a tow rope on the rear now.

PJ, the bars worked fine for Cory. He did end up losing a side panel somewhere.

I thought Sat sucked, mostly sled issues, between mine and Cory's. Today was nice and deep! Was weird cold today, I had a mid layer on all day that is usually saved for the below 0 temps.

It's 5°f right now!

I don't understand all the complaining ....... we had an awesome day riding Saturday. Not every day has to be a 2 foot fluffy powder day to have fun. Just arrived at the lot, conditions are beautiful! Snowing hard. Roads are a touch slick with 3 inches of slush. But I'm willing to bet we have an awesome day.

Its cause they didnt have awesome people to ride with :) haha
PS you drive like a grandpa
PPS state troopers have no business driving in that type of weather, get out of the way pigs!
PPPS yesterdays snow on RE was awesome!

Where did we cross paths? We didn't see anybody until the end of the day. Only lost one sled too. A Polaris D8 (go figure) lost a voltage regulator, towed it out so he didn't lose his ECU.

I was with trackvs2wheels, army sledder and Steff, you came up on us when we stopped to talk to a large group of older riders at the end of the day close to the trail going back to mc lot. Right after you went by, Steffs throtle stuck open. You also passed us on the trail as we were headed back to mc lot when we were rigging the throttle cable with some needle nose to get the sled back to the lot. I saw a sled being towed threw the mc lot, must of been you guys.

Bars held up great PJ. Thanks again

Bushy even found my side panel. Maybe a Sunday ride:nod:

Not a prob, I like helping fellow sledders out.
I'm riding today, managed to give the mandatory 20 hours notice so I won't get burned.

Rest of the week looks drab, warmer temps but rain. :face-icon-small-sad

Got to ride Friday for the first time in two years. Snow was deep but wet and heavy. Set off a decent avi over by the wall. I rode out the top of it but promptly got knock off the sled. Snow was so sticky that the few jumps and dropped I tried I ended up eating handlebar sandwich ouch. First time with a GoPro. Not bad but I need to figure out how to get the white balance to work better. I ran out of gas right at the end.

I saw that one go right in front of me on Thursday. I wasn't even on the hill and no one had been on it yet, it just went untriggered. Needless to say, I stayed off of the hills for the rest of the day...

No, it was over towards the wall. It was quite a bit larger than that one. The fracture was 2-3 feet thick. I was cutting a side hill and was able to turn up as it started to move. I don't know about life threatening but it would have not been fun to be on the bottom side of it.

I can't have a signature or an avatar lol. What happened to this place?

Pay up beotch!

Rode today. Snow was soft in the am but as the day wore on it became mashers, minus brown gravy. Sleds don't like running when it's 60°f out. Lot was a muddy mess with a river running through it. I snagged a nice trout out of it. Couple of dudes (no helmets :loco:) were pulling the trail markers. no more groomed trails or markers.

Geez, how's Bushy gonna know where to go.
