That was in the morning! In the afternoon it was setup and slushy. I was soaked to the core. If it doesn't snow a bunch and you don't hit it that day, it's gonna suck. Next weekend I'm gonna ride the dirtbike.

Big snow today and tonight, Looks like I'll be headed up in the Morning to rip some Powder turns:heh:

I don't understand all the complaining ....... we had an awesome day riding Saturday. Not every day has to be a 2 foot fluffy powder day to have fun. Just arrived at the lot, conditions are beautiful! Snowing hard. Roads are a touch slick with 3 inches of slush. But I'm willing to bet we have an awesome day.

I saw PJ and his large group. Later in the day we had a sweet day, snow was awasome for this time of year. A little easier to get stuck then normal, but we were way off trail and is some highly technical areas.

*shrug* I call it like I see it, snow wasn't really that great IMO.

I had great time riding with you yesterday and I think for spring riding it could have been way worse snow. I cant complain, after we gained elevation and go into the trees it was a fun ride well minus the 12x roll and steff breaking his throttle lol.

PJ always has a bad day... I've had a great season so far, even though I got a late start, would have been up this past week but I was sick on the couch.. :face-icon-small-sad Anyone that can't find good snow at the ears need to find another riding area.... I see there was chain laws on the pass today, would have been another epic day for those who can find the "good" snow....

Yes, today was pretty good. Snowed most of the day. 15 or so inches of new maybe? Had about a half hour of sun.

this thread is useless without pics :)

Who the f*ck said I had a bad day?? I said the snow was setup and slushy in the afternoon. Never once did I say I hated getting out and riding. Wished I woulda went today but I had to go grocery shopping.

We found decent snow northwest of Long Lake. We headed back early because a couple guys were low on fuel and had to get back to Denver so they could relieve their wives. Then I got home, unloaded and went and helped my Dad go through his tools to see what he is selling and keeping. Then I helped Boston Racing fix a broken set of bars.

I been trying really hard to not bash or just rant with a negative attitude and then you jump up and assume that I had a bad day. The you pipe up and say something I never implied.

Where did we cross paths? We didn't see anybody until the end of the day. Only lost one sled too. A Polaris D8 (go figure) lost a voltage regulator, towed it out so he didn't lose his ECU.

Conditions went from 3' of pow on Wed to mush on Sat. Some epic powder days last week. The crappy snow on Sat morn. tossed a few of us. I recall my knees gripping the bars and me about to go into the shredder. Ended up getting tossed off the back at 20. My broken neck hurt a little more about then. lol Skib endoed the new pro turbo much the same way. That's what we get for riding before the crust melts though. Seemed like the perfect day to drop in behind the ears and hit that snow that rarely sees the sun. Talk about super deep mush/pow. Stuck fest for the next two hours on those north slopes. Wasn't that fun. lol

Well, you made two trips back there. We had a decent day, at least I did once the snow softened enough to kick up on the coolers. Hit a few jumps and then just spent time seeing how far I could get my sled to tail walk after cresting. I got it about 70' before the nose dropped back down. Third problem free day on boost. And might I add that Wes's "NightCamo" wrap looked great on the snow.
