36" A Arms on Axys

Is 37" the lowest setting?

37" is the most narrow setting. Also, I found that my left lower a-arm was damaged by the impact with the metal object that I hit. Both the back and front tubes were significantly dented but both are still straight due to the tops being undamaged. I rode all day yesterday with the damaged a arm. I am pretty sure that the stock a arm would have been broken or severely bent by the impact. I don't believe that there is any other damage beyond the a arm but I am going to check it more carefully tonight.

I've got 3 rides with my 36" arms and can't believe how amazing this sled handles.
Took the longer evols off my pro and as long as I don't run much more the 60lbs in the main chamber the steering doesn't bind.
These sleds feel so light and effortless it's like riding a snowboard through the trees.

Well I pulled the trigger on a 36" set of alt impacts today. Hoping they are here before christmas, but doubting they will be here before next week

I ordered a set of Kmod arms yesterday.

I did this for insurance that I won't ruin a trip out west in January and feb by breaking/bending a stock a arm right away. I dislike that Zbroz and alt impact used stock hardware and ball joints. I'll pay a little more to have my arms assembled and ready to go as I don't have a press. Also 37" seems like a happy stance since you can go 37"-39". I've never ridden on a narrower pro or axys front end and never complained about the stock width. I trust mountain horse if he says they are a very good quality setup. Kevin was very helpful and returned my call in about a half hour to get me set up.

Just an FYI, the Kmod 37" arms are made for a 37" spindle center to spindle center.

Now if you center the skis, a spacer on each side the ski, the skis will be roughly 37" center to center.

If you put both spacers on the outside of the spindle, your ski center to center will now be roughly 36".

If you put both spacers on the inside of the spindle the ski center to center will now be roughly 38".

nothing wrong with the K MOD set up but in all fairness keep in mind you do not use any stock hardware with my axys arms other than two bolts and two nuts :)

I wouldn't mind hearing about the K-Mod 37" also from the people that are running these...

I have been running the kmod for two rides now. It was a little tippy at first but now I really like it. It cuts turns really well and holds up to some medium hits well.

Thank you for clarifying the KMOD width. I am running mine at the widest setting so, according to what you wrote, I am set at 38". I have not been on a stock setup on the Axys so I really don't know how much difference there is. I will try to get some seat time on one to get a better idea.
