300 freestyle

I gave my son a 300 freestyle for christmas and he loves it , the only problem he has is that it is so narrow that it tips really easy on him. my question is has anyone put a widening kit on one of these sleds to give the same stance as the 550f model. if you have any input that would be great.

925tundra

I have a tundra, that is the same chassis as the freestyle. The ski stance can be widened to whatever stance you would like it to be with fabrication of new a-arms as long as correct ski camber is acquired. You would have to put longer shocks on as well. I will be doing this very thing to mine. To my knowledge there is no one that sells aftermarket arms for this chassis.

how old is your son? I'm starting to look at a bigger sled for mine...he's out riding the 120...so it's time to give it to his little brother. I thought of this model, but most people have the older phazer etc for their kids and no real opinion of the freestyle.

300

I am also picking one up Friday for my ten year old he is currently on a 250 star lite I hope this is a step up for him.The reverse and electric start will be nice. Maybe tightening up the front limitter would make it fell less tippy?

I have one for my daughter . A little tippy . Teach yoiur kid to lean . The 300 is a blast . We ride 6 to 9k so I found that 1 small weight in each puck works well in ther clutch .
