3" tracks holding up??

So is road riding on hard pack at a good rate of speed hard on the lugs being so long and skinny like some poor soles? Serious question. Obviously they were designed for deep power riding. Summarizing tips. Tire dressing to keep them soft9

X3

Guys riding steep and deep with fast track speeds and 8 tooth drivers are not having problems with the new production run.
If you run 7 tooth drivers fast on the trail or hardpack you will tear off paddles, even on the new production run.

what sleds will fit a 8 tooth driver with the 3 inch?

I bet ya outta all the sleds out there running 3inch tracks 90% are running 7 tooth drivers?? ??

3"

MY 3" 174 has been out several times climbing and road ratting,no problems.Running 8 tooth drivers, track cut to 15" wide with an 1150 for power.I'm just getting ready to port it.My buddy's 3" 162 cut down to 15" with 8 tooth drivers is working fine also.He runs an 1150 to.I'm going to put a 3" 162 under my 1500 shortly, will see how it holds up.

Don't for one minute think camo is going to pull the improperly fused tracks off the market ! these tracks are still in stock at dealers all over the place ! its YOUR job to do the home work and find out if you have a new run of tracks :face-icon-small-dis The delaminatinting is the problem with the old run . My new track has a few tears in the outer paddles from stumps and rocks but no signs of delamaintaing like my 3 inch tracks from last year . The old 3 inch tracks hold up just fine on lower HP sleds . I even know of a 3 inch that has a few BACKWORDS paddles that are on their 3rd season on XP's with nothing but great reviews from their owners

Let us know how we do this said "homework"??
Any numbers or markings to set off the bad ones from the good ones?
Fill us in??

The whole 3" paddle warranty issue is Camoplast's responsability. The buck stops with them.
The warranty time period is unacceptable, 3 to 6 months average, and some as long as over 12 months.

We are Western Canada's largest retailer of Camoplast tracks, and when someone tells me it's going on a DOO. They are all told " it you ride down the trail @ mach chicken you will loose paddles" This is usually because peeps don't want to spend the extra $$$ to do the job right. ie: extended chaincase and 8 tooth drivers.
We have been selling tracks for over 8 years (thousands & thousands of tracks) with no warranty claims until the 3" track came out. We have had 11 claims total on 3" Camo Extreme tracks. 8 have been on XP's with 7 tooth drivers. No claims with 8 tooth drivers.
Don't be pi$$ed at any of the dealers who sell the tracks, call and bitch to Camoplast.
The dealers who say they don't charge for freight to ship warranty tracks back (as stated in the Camoplast warranty sheet) makes me wonder how smart they are to keep covering Camoplast for their defects.

Rant over!

get busy,
Ya Im running a 174 3" on my 1995cc blown injected turbo charged nitrous 4 cylinder , tore off all the lugs taking it off the trailer, so were going to build a 186x17x4 out off billet aluminum with 10 inch drivers and a 6 inch drop chain case. should hold up.

:face-icon-small-froBought a brand new 3" 162 and had exactly two miles on it and it tore in half, sent it to camoplast for warranty and it was denied, Bunch of Bull__t in my opinion. I was waiting for someone else to have problems and bring it to the public attention!!!!
