3" Paddle track

Any of you guys on here put the avid d&r chaincase and a 3" camo paddle track on? Im wondering about the benifets and would like to know real word results. Please post if you have direct experience with this set up. As i dont want a turbo, i would leave it naturally asperated. Thx

I ride with Robbie from Avid now and then and I can tell you they work. They work very very well. You will not regrte it whether you go with the 174 or 163. I personally would go with the 174. I had revs with a 174 and a 162 and the 174 was the hands down winner. They were 2.5's but it is all reletive. I could keep up with Robbie when he had the 2.5" track and after he went to the 3" ( only change he made ) I was not even close anymore. Both naturally aspirated.

Just a couple of things to consider as well. (I've had PM's on this)

1) The 3" tall paddle tracks are avail ONLY in 16" wide. So you will need to cut the track to 15" wide with a saw... This voids any kind of warranty on the track... Which is pretty pricey at over $900 street price.

2) You will need to go considerably slower on hardpack with a 3" track if you want it to last.

Thanks MH, my track supplier will be cutting the track to width as well has warned me about the high speed lug losing situation. At this point im still on the fence as the total balance of this stock sled is what i dont want to lose
