3 inch track... Whos doin one?

I'm doing one on my 2013 800 RMK with Chain Drive.

156"

Running Robbies 7 tooth drivers and the FTX Chaincase Mod.

Pros: Amazing traction in deep snow... climbing and braking.

Cons: Cant go ripping down the trail a warp speed after a long day.

Run the track to factory tension specs and you wont have issues.

Carls Cycles will have the exclusive first run on these tracks that will be "punched center" and 15" wide X3's.

Just put my name on a 156x3 for my pro I haven't bought yet.. getting a little ancy! :face-icon-small-win
I think its gonna be out of the box price point best mod that I could do and still keep the warrenty!

So are we a 100% positive the new 156 x 3 will be center punched? My understanding on specifically a 13 Pro RMK is we would just need to run Robbies 7th drivers and the track? No need to cut down the rails or run an anti-stab kit?

Cheers
Shawn

See my other thread XP....Carls has the exclusive first run on the center punched version.

Others dealers will follow.

Cheers,
Eric

Shane,

With the center ported track and the non extro drivers like robbie made....You don't have to cut the rail tips off nor run anti-stab kit.

More of a bolt on deal.

The UN-center-punched X3 tracks will be avail in 156"x15" , 162"x15" and 174 x 15" wide.

All are 3" pitch and all require that either 7 tooth drivers be run or a Drop/roll Chaincase/belt drive like the, Ice Age, AVID, CMX or C3.

Nice, thanks for the reply! Was trying to figure out which way would be the most economical etc. Any pricing on these tracks yet?

IMO...this track will be one of the best "bang-for-the-buck upgrades in the last decade for deep snow.

IMO "The juice will be worth the squeeze"

So it sounds like it will be about a break even deal over ordering a track trimmed to 15" or staying with center punched.

Don't forget the CMX belt drive system it's a drop and roll so you can run an 8 tooth driver, that's what I will be doing

I'll be running a couple of X3's this year, likely one of each length, but I am doing some chassis mods to my PRO's as well as drive mods to allow me to run 9 Tooth drivers and still have ample clearance for the X3 plus snow / air evacuation. Gear ratios as low as 3:1.

I for one, refuse to run the stupidly small 7 Tooth driver.

Picked up an X3 / 163 a couple months back when Track USA had them on sale. Got the 9220 for under a 1000.00 shipped to the house. Only thing left to order up is the 7 tooth drivers. Needless stay I cannot wait until the 14 comes and the snow is flying!!!!

Anyone have some suggestions on where a guy could order up here in Alberta that is reasonable? I am looking for 3- 162's and 1-156 x3 with drivers..
