2moto at Stamp today?

Which brings to mind a few things....

Corvair
lawn darts
DeLorean
Tucker
K-Car
Yugo

Please add to the list. What do they all have in common?

I had to turn off the ignore feature on him just to see what you guys were talking about. Ignore is back on.

Who remembers the "Wet Bike?"
:moon:

No political correctness here.

Let's be honest, when you go to Gold Bar or Florence ever notice the young child riding the 450 quad, etc., worse still no helmet.

Last year in same snow park I parked next a family, that kid was maybe twelve but it was his new Artic Cat M5, he could ride it pretty good when I went out with him. He spent a lot of time talking to me when I was tinkering at my trailer, almost annoying me about the 120 but I'm used to kids like that, I'm the oldest of seven.

He made a friend that week end about his age, think his sled was a RMK 700 they went riding on their own, the RMK came back by him self in a panic to me not either of the parents. When I got there he wasn't injured just shaken, fell off the edge of a seven, eight foot deep ditch, had tried to pin the throttle and slammed into the culvert, broke one of the skis!

How fast did the other kid ride the 700 down the trail to tell some one? What if the first kid had not been as smart as he was to throttle and just fallen off into the ditch only to have that light weight 450lb M5 drown him?

Bet his mom would have been a bigger ***** when she tries to blame the industry for here parenting then I am a dick head as you say. Remember the group that killed the three wheelers, the TRX250R, and the Quad Racers? Don't now how the Banshee kept out of their radar unless their owners own fear kept it from the youngsters. How many of these MORONS have or are about to hand the bars of their TApex to junior?

Let's drop the age limit for motor vehicle purchases to sixteen, sell them Kawasaki ZX14's and roll camera!

They need the Oneski more so then us just so they can go riding another day.

They may have credit cards, but they are a whole different class of people, those old time Gold Bar riders!

I'd call them something else, but I prefer the underhanded insults!

Am I the only one that this diatribe makes no sense to??? What the hell is he trying to say????

And why is he on this thread??

Dang it, Ignore only works when others don't quote him. :D:rolleyes:
If you try to make sense out of what he says your head might pop.

Again...Purple Monkey Dishwasher.
( Or am I the only one who remembers what that was from?)

I think we need to have a celebrity deathmatch between 2moto and snowhawk. Got claymation?

Looks fun...

Saw Whistler Heli-sledder filming 5 or 6 guys riding these 2Moto conversions up at the Big Dawg last April. Looked like the riders were having a blast. Isn't this what it's all about anyway?

I saw that too while up at BD. I didn't get to see them on the trail Saturday, but I gawked over the bikes in the lot. Jeez it was chilly, 8 degrees.
I know that they did up a Service Honda CR500AF that was on the CRriders forum. All white plastics.....chub. That bike was not in the stable Saturday.
Questions I have are like others have:
-shifting with Klim boots on.......how tough is it.
-jetting, cold air effects?
-gearing options.
-how well do they take air
etc.

It is human nature to snub these bikes on first reaction. Once a person gets past that and starts to look closer, then the rubber starts to meet the road. These things, as well as the Hawk, look fun. But, IMHO the conversion idea is more practical. Then again, I have not ridden either..........

2Moto Made in the USA !

:D I've had the Snow Hulk. Too much Cheese $. All left over BRP part's. Old technology. All gone ,Now. Next Step, 2moto ! No comparison, I'm not looking back. Forward .....2Moto.com. Cheer's :beer;

Shifting is pretty easy. You need a good open peg though to clear snow. I got the Fastway peg on the testbike I rode full of snow and it iced up. The Fastways are about the most open peg you can find, but even through powder they get a full, just like a sled board.

Jetting is no big deal, just lean it out for the higher elevations like a sled. The 2moto guys say the 4t's are easier than 2t's to jet, but I don't know firsthand.

Gearing could be changed at the countersprocket on the bike very easily. I didn't think to ask about changing on the track chainset.

Here's a long writeup I did about my day-long test. I've ridden sleds for a long time, so I had a good background on both sleds and bikes.
