27 foot trailer vs 29 foot trailer

Looking to buy a inline trailer thanks for any help you can offer. On what to buy whats the pros and cons on a 27 footer to a 29 footer can you get four 153's in a 27plane footer and where is the cheaper place to buy one

We have a 29x7 American Hauler purchased from these guys at Hay Days: http://www.sparkstrailers.com/Pages/AllsportModel.aspx

We normally put 2-162 and 1-153 in with lots of room to spare for gear, fuel, etc. Load them from nose facing rear.

We have put 2-162 and 3-153 in it before. Load all sleds nose facing rear of trailer. Just put a 4-wheeler tire under the track of each sled then drive sled behind it up under tunnel but over track of sled in front of it. Works great for when we need five. With 5 guys lifting and moving little 4-wheeler tire is easy. We usually do this when we stay where we can ride out of our lodging every morning.

My advice. Call Sparks Trailers and price out a 7x29. If similar in price to a 7x27 from somewhere else, get the bigger trailer. You'll be kicking yourself later if you don't.

If your only hauling 4, go 27'

We've used both and there is too much "extra" room in a 29'
2' longer can be a pain on the tight turn-a-rounds.
They fit very nice in a 27' & still plenty of room for cargo to boot.

I would go with the bigger trailer, you are never going to say, " I wish we didn't have so much room", but i will bet you going to say, "I wish we had MORE room"

I also don't think pulling around a 2 foot longer trailer will make that much difference, and you will always get your money back out of it when/if you sell or trade trailers, besides all of that, have your sleds been getting longer over the years or shorter?

got a 27'x7' alumna, (22 on flat deck+5'V) pull them in so they are facing backwards towards the back of the trailer, all facing the same direction, and get 4 153's in easily. could put one in backwards for even more room. trailer is 2500 lbs empty. 29' would is not necessary for my needs. plenty of room for bags. i couldnt imaging going back to a 8 1/2 foot.

Northern turbo how in the h*** did u do that? We have tried fit 5 153" in our 7x27' every possible way that we could think of u must have drove them on top of each other. 7x27 is the perfect size for 4 sleds IMO. If u want to carry tool boxes and extra fuel better get 29'.
