24 Volt power

I need 24 volts for a KC HID lighting system. They are setup to run on 24 volts for a HMMWV.
How can I setup or install a diode or whatever to get 24 volts for my lights without feeding 24 volts back into my trucks 12 volts system?

You need a DC to DC converter, not going to get it with just some simple parts.

Watch your output wattage , simple rule is voltage up amperage down ( and the reverse ).

what happened to the transformer they came with ?

They didn't come with a transformer. HMMWV is a 24 volt system however that looks like it might do the trick for these lights. Thanks Jacmmaxwell
