Looking at the 2026 snowcheck program im seriously not impressed. am i missing something? there seem to be pretty much zero improvements from the 25's i was thinking of a new vr1 of they put the 9r in it but it seems they skipped the vr1 platform all together. guess i keep my 24 boost another year as i see no reason to upgrade anything.

for the money they are charging i expect more than changing the color of the sled

Polaris doesn't need anything if they clean up their act on wiring and clutching and brakes and pumps.
I don't think we are going to get all the new chassis stuff in the future. You are going to get little tid bits to already great sleds, for doo and poo, from here on out.
You could have said the same in 1990, the sport is constantly evolving there will be many new changes in the next 20 years. the question is by WHO?

That's a stretch. Maybe I'm wrong. I didn't say there wouldn't be changes. I don't think there will be drastic changes and all new chassis like everyone wants or expect. People are already griping about pricing. To get lighter gets pricey from here on out.
Look at motorcycles. You could buy a older dirt bike and have about as good of time. You can't say that with a sled but they have to be getting closer to maxing out. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe not.

Polaris has really dug its heals in on the P-22 debacle that clutch has certainly cost them plenty. Only benefit is you don’t have to adjust your belt. The P-85 is more durable and performs better too.

Not a whole lot of changes in 2026 to the RMK line for sure, but sometimes that is not a bad thing. Let things settle into place that are working and make small adjustments to further improve fit and finish and other small under hood items.
One item of note is that the P22 issues on 2025 RMK's is noticeably less to almost non-exisitent......at least from what I have seen in the field, read about on forums etc..... still some lingering previous model year issues, but those seem to be getting dealt with by Polaris.

So, fourth time's a charm?

Might just be a low snow year so limited mileage on 25's

I agree - I think both Doo and Poo are at least 3 years out on the new chassis.

Based on patterns, Poo was due for a new trail chassis in 26 and a new mtn chassis in 27. Ski Doo would update their mtn sled the next year.
