I stopped at looked at the 26s in Boise yesterday. Colors are pretty bad. New boards and tunnel brackets look nice and won't hold any snow but seem fragile. The front bumper looks like a good improvement while the rear looks weird. I'd rather have a backwoods or bmp. The new throttle block and coated cable is really nice looking and should totally fix the cruise control issue. The guy I talked to basically admitted they took a year off to try and clean up all the things that have been plaguing them. The handle bar bags seem like they are for guys who want to listen to Nickelback and pound Coors light in a field. They just look like they're in the way for real riding. It was a pretty good conversation with the rep except for when he pretended like he'd never heard anything about how bad the 24 brakes were. At this point it seems like it's common knowledge. I would definitely look for a holdover 25. My .02
Everything that you mentioned was refined in 25. The rear running board bracket is somewhat of a failure point now. I hope they are refining suppliers for quality and what not in this leap year so we get better quality in 26/27. Also you mention the handle bar bag getting in the way but the guy that has consistently ran one that is basically same for a long time is actually the guy that gets **** done, Chris Burandt. Also Sled Solutions was the first to build that bag setup. They all are $350 USD though.

I agree on the bar bags. I’ve run the sled solutions bar bags for years and a couple years ago I ditched the front goggle portion because let’s be real, It does not fit any goggles. Not to mention I didn’t like it hanging out over near my screen stuff like that. Other than that, I’m super happy with the sled solutions our bag and the quick release system. I have had the brackets wear into the bag and water gets in there now, but they’ve been put through the ringer.

Yeah I'd guess burandt can make just about anything work. I'm also pretty short so I am not able to get that far away from the bars. It just looked bulky and unnecessary. A float pack and tunnel bag carries alot of stuff . My main point was like you said. 26s are basically 25s with some terrible colors.

Ran sled solutions and it's great. The only time it's hard to see guage is if your sitting. The only thing I don't like on the other is it's hard to see tether when plugging it back in.
I keep spare goggles in my goggle bag on klim 16 airbag.

I can agree with that. It probably was more that It was useless to me running the front bag and I run the helium hood for goggles and stuff.

Interesting. I just put a sled solutions on my boost. It's fits a pair of Klim Aeons just fine.

Upgrade to the durapro tether. All you need to do is toss it at the sled and it connects. Even when covered in ice.

Interesting that Polaris is only letting you get the low bar when you build a snowcheck.

No complaints from me, the low is still too tall for me.

I wonder how the bag will clear the console if you throw on the -2" ZRP Steering Post

The Poo bar height offerings and lack of simple adjustability from the factory are a joke.

Doo has a much better handlebar height adjustment system and so much easier to modify.

I personally love the OEM storage behind the 7S. Can't imagine losing that.

Keep the poo
Definitely leaning that way. My buddies have trail tech's. the 7s on my poo is way better than the 10.25" on my lynx..can actually see it when riding lol. Poo seems a little harder to start a edge but then its locked in. It doesn't do anything crazy like every Ski Doo and Lynx I have owned. I still like the steering feel of the doo/lynx better but I'm getting used to the Poo. Probably keeping the poo ( its a 2025 850 NA Khaos )
