2025 155 Slash, how do I remove the foot hook things?

Ok , how do I remove these? the inner most bolts can sorta be reached with an open end wrench.. ( ratchet wrench wont fit, hits the tunnel )

the outer most ones. I have no idea how to get to. It looks like I have to remove the battery, and the entire belly pan and a bunch of rivits to get all the lower plastic off just to remove or adjust these death traps. Clutch side looks like I should be able to fish a long socket/wobble in there but so far no luck.

Am I missing something? any one got any tips? I searched youtube and found nothing. Nothing in the manual either. I can see they are adjustable in 3 holes but how on earth to you get to the bolts? it looks like I have to disassemble the entire snowmobile to get to these. My feet constantly get stuck in them and I cannot stand them. almost broke my leg like 3 times now.

The part against the tunnel, you just unbolt. I can’t remember the other side because I’ve switched to the Pin’d ones and you just unbolt them. It’s not really that hard.

The inner most one ... I just have no idea. I can sorta see the bolt head behind the clutch.. but getting at it is.. um difficult.

You unscrew and pull the side panel of the bellypan back (not off just enough to access the bolts) so you can reach them with a socket wrench with a short extention. Yes you have to disassemble the sides of the sled.

There's a couple push darts and/or t40 screws that hold plastics tight around both footwells. Just pull those and it gives you enough room to get to them. There's a spot where one plastic piece has a tab that slides into another so you have to pull it out straight to get it out.

You might have to pull the battery out to reach the one on the exhaust side, I did mine when I had the battery out anyway swapping in the cv customs lightweight battery kit.

Ok thanks, I got the clutch side one off with a big ass extension.. I think i need to pull the battery to get room for the other side. Not sure how i would ever get these back on but lol.. thanks.

This helped thanks. I got them both off. whooo. That was a lot harder than I expected though.. very fiddly and fishing sockets around removing batteries, loosening panels etc. but those damn things are off now. thanks.

HOWEVER.......... check this out...

This is a 2025 155, matryx Khaos 850.

I bought it about a month ago when I wrecked my Lynx into a tree, and was waiting on backordered parts for so long I went and bought my first ever Polaris.

While I was removing the battery I was like what is this cord under the coolant bottle all tight. THE PULL CORD... funny enough in 5 rides since I bought this thing I have not once even tried to pull the pull cord, ever because of the estart. Good thing I didn't. It was already chafing a bit.. I pulled it out of there and back onto its wheel and now its fine... Just pull started it for the first time.
