Hey Guys,

What are you running for air intake on the new chassis? I know C3 made a new cover but it seems not to be available.

What are the alternatives?

Thanks,

Rob

The Airforce is hands down the best intake I've ever run on any bike. If it fits the 24, bite the bullet and get that one.

Do you have a pic of that setup?
I don't. What i've done is cut the stock boot to allow for a pod type intake, but leave enough plastic so that you can re-mount everything and leave the air sensor in it's stock location. For the breather, either put a filter on the end of it and leave it close to the stock location or buy a breather hose from a 2014 era yzf and install it the same as they are in the 2014 era bikes.

I went to the Air Force velocity stack on my 23 Yamaha this year. It runs great and pulls hard. I have about 10 rides so far this season. Always seem to have a little snow in it after the ride, so I added a second prefilter sock and that helped. So far I’ve only had one day where I was annoyed with the clogging. Super cold Utah blower powder. Went through 3 balaclavas that day and multiple goggles. Lost power dozens of times and had to stop to brush it out. I am currently working on installing frog skins in the cover and going to block off as much as I can around the stack to try to keep snow out. thinking then I can just brush off the cover. My bike is currently stock and I am running the hard hitting map. Curious what everyone else is doing to their tuner? Should I just take away a little bit of timing? Overall, very pleased with the velocity stack.
