As long as you are getting the New 17 this year than that is awesome! The new truck is better in every way.

A couple things to NOTICE in this photo..

a new Directional LED Light Bar that has been added directly above the Self Fueling door to LIGHT up the area for fueling at night!

I thought they were putting caliber slides in this trailer?
Long story on that one.
It has not happened "YET".
Let me get all the photos uploaded and I will explain in detail whats going on there.

Rear Entry
Here is something NEW we are testing this year.
This is a Diamond Plate hinge cover.
The idea is great, but we are not at all certain how this will stand up to the Carbides on Snowmobile Skis.
It may be that we simply need a heavier gauge to withstand the cutting or that it has to be a different material. But this is part of our agreed upon TESTING for Mirage.
We all agree that we want to cover this hinge to keep snow from turning in to HARD PACKED ICE when the rear gate is lifted. This is their latest possible solution.
For summer sport use, ATVs, RZRs, Dune Buggys, Motorcycles, this should be a slam dunk to keep dirt and mud out.
We will know this weekend how it does with Sleds!

We discovered the HUGE benefit of this little addition a few years ago in testing at Togwotee Mountain Lodge, where after using the trailer day after day the ice buildup in the rear of the trailer became an issue and generating enough HEAT in the rear to keep the sleds quickly melted out was a challenge. When Mirage added this heater, that problem vanished!
AND.
After a particularly COLD RIDE, this heater was FABULOUS in giving a Cold Body some much needed DIRECT HEAT to get warmed up fast!

One of the things we are going to try this year is replacing the stock thermostat with an intelligent one connected to a Cellular WiFi Hot Spot we will install in the trailer.
WHY you ask?
We want to see what its like to be able to REMOTELY turn ON the heater in advance of our arrival at the end of the day.
More often than not our SnoWest Forum group rolls in to the trailer at dusk.
Its COLD and its DARK.
We think it would be nothing short of Awesome to be able to park the sleds beside the trailer, and walk into a TOASTY WARM trailer to relax, rewarm, get changed, and then load the sleds up for a ride home!

It is SO nice to have FLAT SPACES to put stuff on while getting suited up and after the ride is over, not to mention when you are Wrenching on a broken sled!

At the end of the day EVERYONE wants to recharge their Phone the moment they come off the mountain and it was always a fight to see who got the 2 USB ports that came with the trailer previously. Add radios, GoPros and other goodies to the Power Seeking Mix, and it was a MESS before. NO MORE!!
Now we have a nice table and power ports for everything!
Honestly guys, its LITTLE THINGS like this that will make the trailer SO MUCH more enjoyable to have and use!!

The boot drying rack now has GLOVE DRYERS in between!
4 sets of boots and 4 pair of gloves will all fit snugly in there for drying or Pre-Warming on a frosty cold morning!

This is a heated drying box with a drip grill on the bottom.
