What do people think of the new truck. It's sure hard to order something that you can't drive?
The new trans and ecotec are interesting but would have preferred to see a 5.2 Coyote in it.
Thoughts?

Cool truck, real cool!
Far more capable than any of it's competitors, in fact it truly doesn't have competition.
However, very damned few people will ever use this truck anywhere near it's potential.

I would consider myself a Ford guy, but would opt for the Rebel. Better dollar value for a lower income guy!

Had the 13 and the 14 and loved the truck. the 6.2 motor just worked. The most capable off road stock truck made in my opinion. It worked on the asphalt as well. With the new motor option coming out, the value of the 14's were through the roof. I sold the 14 for $52,100 with 44k miles on it. Only paid $58k for it new.

Went with a new Duramax High Country, but rumor has it that the V8 is making a comeback in 2018, so I didn't want to be sitting on a 17 with the V6!!!!! If the V8 comes back in 18 then I will surely jump back into the Raptor mkt!!!!!!!!!

Yeh not crazy about the v6 but will drive it and see I guess.
Looks to be possibly impressive numbers for a 6?
Yes the 2014's are just stupid for price for a used truck. Not getting it from me and never liked the looks of them. Prefer the 2017 , buts that just me.
Have the Duramax as well and not replacing it .
