2016 axys RMK... beginning to see some details.

So you think they're going to stick the old 800 in the new axys chassis?

Not at all... I just dont think you will see significantly changed pistons/cylinders/head on the new ho axys motor...

I havent personally seen an axys motor torn apart so I guess I dont know but I basically thought it was the same motor with lighter crank, new exhaust valves then just minor tweaks.

I herd from my deal it's going to be a snow check only. Guess we will find out soon.

Any one else been keeping up with the RPM fade that axys owners have been dealing with? I haven't paid much attention in a week or two but now that I do a search there are several threads on HCS of guys having RPM fade after they hit about 18 hours on these engines. I'm hoping it's an easy fix and something that polaris will do from the factory on the 2016 RMKS

HO motor is considerably different than the current Pro motor. Lighter crank, different pistons, electronic actuated power valves (bigger than the Pro motor), electric oil pump, cooling jacket around the exhaust manifold, lower center of gravity, etc. I also understand that the new RMK Axys is going to have the brake on the drive shaft, a belt tensioner, T motion type suspension, new track and on and on.

I hope that this sled is a paradigm shift for Polaris riders. I spent some time on a Ski Doo XM last weekend and it was very impressive. It is easier to ride than my 13 Pro. I hope the new RMK Axys one ups the Ski Doo.

If that's true (in red) hopefully it has a lockout. Not impressed with the XM, Don't get me wrong I think it's a great sled but not for me. The T3 I got to ride with tore his brake off in the first 5 miles so sadly no experience with them to comment on.

You guys this is hilarious!
We are sitting around stewing like our wives do when we go riding for the weekend with our buddies. Left with their own thoughts for couple of days they will have themselves convinced that you weren't even riding with your buddies at all, you were in Cabo with your 22 year old girlfriend, and when you get back you spend all Sunday night on trial! Ha ha
We are the desperate housewives an Polaris is about to show up with a long tracked Axis...and we are all going to be standing ther with confused looks on our faces.... Going uhhhh were is the turbo? And fancy new suspension, and what about dilithium drive..?....Ya, you said it was going to levitate like a space ship... What gives???
Ha ha ...good times!

You know what's up!

I am betting polaris makes these teaser videos and right now there are a group of 4-5 guys huddled around a computer laughing their asses off at what we can come up with from a blurred out picture of a damn tunnel and seat

Sounds like its a belt wear issue at 1000 miles? A $270 cnd belt.... Luckily gates has a $80 replacement.
