Yep, winter came to I P yesterday, about eight inches... to put it in perspective, we didn't have squat on the ground till T'day last year, and it turned into a decent winter, so... hope springs eternal

Snow Report for December 1.... Looks like we picked up about 4 or 5 inches last night and another 5 the past few days. As you can see from the gauge we're struggling to get past the one foot threshold, but the forecast (for what it's worth) does show a pretty wet pattern for the near term. The Forest Service should be opening the gates today, but with snow levels this low... who knows. wwracer

Snow Report for 12/03: Currently 18 degrees, no wind, and light to moderate snow falling. Picked up 8" + dry powder last night and it's currently coming down pretty good. A few more inches and they'll be dragging the new groomer out to hit the trails. Not bad since the experts predicted around an inch...

Snow was VERY good yesterday.
We had a blast.
Still NO BASE to speak up.
But plenty of places with 2ft of fluff and found several spots we were able to play in with NO landmines or dead-fall to worry about.

Snow Report for 12/5 Currently it's around 0 with a light wind. We picked up about six inches of super fine sugar snow on Sunday, followed by a few hours of wind gust. Went and took the Fish Creek loop today, snow conditions are looking real good once you get past 7K feet. No grooming yet, the trails are unpacked and some drifting here and there. Dont get too complacent off the trail, the snow's tempting but there's junk lurking underneath... ask me how I know
