2015 wish list

Going to be 90 degrees out today, so my thoughts turn to white, crisp, powder...what would you like to see on the new model? I'm thinking exo skeleton frame with composite tunnel that snow won't stick to....let's get thinkin'...

A stronger tunnel that doesn't bend in the footwells like this one does.

A stronger engine - 900cc that produces at least 165 hp and can go 3k miles reliably before a rebuild.:lol:

At the very least, get rid of that STUPID Mono-block and go back to individual cylinders that can expand/contract evenly.

A new chassis for sure. Not that there is problems with existing but I am sure it limits Polaris. I think they will want a chassis that can accept a 4 stroke turbo and is a bit easier to steer and pull up on one ski. The current chassis is very good but it does take more effort than it should, especially for the smaller person. Doo has made an XP easy to handle with the XM so it should be really easy to gain some with the Pro chassis.

Hey teth pass it over here...

Yeah no kidding...

The last thing I want is a universal chassis... We already have that option in the wide fatass proclimb... Polaris please keep making a mountain specific chassis.

And as for making it easier to get it on edge... I just dont get it:face-icon-small-con

But I am 6' 200lbs and possess super strength. lol

X3 on the mono block.

Also I'd like to see lower gearing. I was going to say a tensioner and changeable gears or different gear/ belt combos, but if it was geared down just a tad I would have to ask them to make it changeable....

And the always more power, but that's definatly at the bottom of my wish list. The '13 blew me away how much better than my '11 it is. Keep up the good work on continuing to improve the already best chassis Polaris.

We'll see a new motor design before a new chassis. Would be year 5 on a popular chassis, doo is the only real competitor right now, don't think poo is gonna move on for the sake of moving on. Don't think a chassis will show up till 16 or 17.

i agree why would they mess with the chassis
i'm really hoping for a new engine! track options would be cool maybe shocks as well

I'd like to see continued refinements on shock valving (the shocks themselves aren't bad at all).

I'd like to see more engine work.

I'd like to see pulley options as a dealer option.

I'd like to see the ProTapers narrowed an inch and handwarmers corked.

I'd like to see powder coated running boards, rails and spindles. (added, thanks for the reminder CO 2.0)

I have a couple others, but I can't remember.

I'd like to see the mag side jackshaft bearing situation fixed.

Easier to steer? 4 stroke tank? Really? You don't want a pro then wrong brand sorry...........

I'm not saying I want it this way, I just see the writing on the wall. You see a Yamy motor in a Cat now and there are aftermarket guys building Pro's this way. There are some that want the option. For the others that mention I am wrong about the heavy steering, Polaris's only turn well when on one ski. This is not a bad thing when you ride aggressively but there is a huge portion of the market that think they should be able to sit on their asses and steer around. These guys love the XM as it will do that and it rolls up easy too. I personally like the Polaris chassis but jump on an XM and your arms will notice how light it feels. My point is if there is improvement to be had, it will likely be in this area, (besides a DI more powerful motor)

Those are good ones!
I almost (almost) don't want to see much for changes so it doesn't obsolete my 14!

All I want from Pol is to keep doing what they are doing.

All I want in 2015 and any other year is the same snow season we had this year.

Keep evolving it and it wont be a snowmobile anymore... HA.

Bushings in the suspension.

Greasable Jackshaft and driveshaft bearings

Engine/electric drive system with no belts or jackshafts??

Cooling system improvements.

A prayer that the 2014 800 DC-CFi-2 has the refinements that allow it to be reliable and make power while still meeting EPA Regulations.

.

Im waiting for the day that they finally put a new track on the friggin thing, the 5.1 is beyond old, I mean jesus christ. And maybe make it with 2.5 inch paddles.
