2013 Pro RMK 800 Advice?

Do you guys have any info if these are recalls or updates, and or some type of ID# for them if anyone has a lnk to the actual Poo recall/update notice I can use it for ammo. Thanks
They need to install a drive shaft collar and replace the top drive shaft sprocket bolt and torque the bolt to the new specks. They don't need to pull off the top pulley for inspection because it's a new sled with under 700 miles.
But if they do, make damn sure they don't put it on backwards like my dealer did. Drove 22 hours to CO to find this out the hard way. Saying I was mad about this would be putting it mildly. :mmph:

OK, all you Polaris dealers out there. This is the wrong way!!!

Now this is the correct way. Pay attention now!!!:light:

MO. '14 belt with fresh green locktite (clean off the hard stock stuff) on pulley bolts at new torque specs (sled shouldn't leave a dealer without driveshaft clamp anyway). After break-in, take the top pulley bolt out and clean off the old locktite then re-apply and re-torque.
Break that belt in anally (to help it get past the production differences), adjust suspension as per manual and just ride.

A sled like this, not too long ago, would have cost more than most could afford and in reality, is more capable than 95% of us stock.

Anyone know the torque spec ? I'm def gonna put the 14 belt on and keep the 13 as a spare, anyone know the belt numbers? Also want a spare drive belt, are the 13 and 14 drive belts same number ?

2205250 is the new part number for the 800's. If I remember right the new torque spec is 45 ft lbs.

The quiet cans only save about 3-4 lbs, stock can is very light. IMO not worth the money, but up to you. MBRP isn't too loud either.

I'm always amazed when I read a post about it's not "worth" saving weight for the small investment you make on a 13k sled. Any weight loss (especially 3-4 lbs!!!) is "worth it" on any M sled.

Why do you think manufacturers labor and labor, spending huge amounts of time and money over losing weight on every next gen sled? $250.00 pipe on average will shed 5lbs. Lithium-ion batteries shed another 5lbs, Yank ANY part that can be replaced with a lighter carbon, Ti or billet part is always "worth it" on every motorsport vehicle.

Lighter is faster, easier to ride toss around, and IMO worth every dollar to gram spent. Pro's know this and it's not much of a secret when you look at their sleds.
