F-ing democrats! They knew I bought tabs for all the sleds early this year. Now they have my money they are having all the snow routed away from Washington. If they don't have to run the groomers they will find some other way to use the money like shutting down riding areas.

Any way went to Priest yesterday. Just enough snow that one could get themselves in trouble. NO base and nice fluffy snow equals very cautious riding. No grooming leads to ridiculously rough trails.
Oh yeah there were only 14 in our group! Can you say cluster.

I have had it... I'm riding this weekend... on my F650 GS

Mike remind me. Do you put batteries or quarters in that one?:boink:

Dayton locals, is there enough snow if I bring the family down for a ride tomorrow? Ride to godman.

There were quite a few rigs with snowmobiles running around town today. I saw snow on several. The ski area reports 4 inches of new today with 30 inches on top. I've been trying to talk Bill into going up with me to ride tomorrow. The trails have been groomed/packed to Godman and towards Teepee last week so should be in decent shape. I heard it was icy last Saturday.

Rode bluewood on sunday, there was enough snow for trail riding. Snow was very hard/icey on top. Trail was groomed all the way south to the Washington Oregon state line. Under the ice was dry fluffy powder.

At least there was a little fresh snow on top for some cooling and cushion. Glad Rob could get his family up to enjoy the snow.

Just a friendly reminder for anyone riding the area this upcoming weekend to watch their drive up and down the mountain from Dayton to Bluewood. When we came down the speed trap was ready with one sheriff rig in the 50 mph zone and one in the 40 mph zone. Didn't see one in the 30 mph zone but you never know. Take it easy though.
