2012 Pro RMK Headlight moisture

Just had my first day with some powder and noticed my headlight had moisture inside of it. Has any one else had this problem. Thanks. Love the sled a long way from my 06 900.

Yea me too, a lot of it and it affects how the beam focuses. Crappy scatters the light all over.

I'm tearing mine apart to put a tether and gauge lifter on right now. My headlight bulb seals appeared to be in perfect position. I'm going to run a little silicon bead around the headlight "pod seam" and see if that does anything to help me see more than 50 feet after dark:face-icon-small-con

Every Pro I've rode with gets it, including mine. The whole headlight doesn't fog up though, just the bottom.

This is the first sled I have ever owned to have this issue.
There are 3 yellow "dots" covering up holes in the back of the housing that are made of a fabricy material, almost looks like gore tex. I assume these were meant to allow the condensation out. Re-inventing the wheel? Why not a sealed housing, Polarry what did you do here?

I'm going to start with plugging the bottom one and see if that helps at all.

when ever any of my other older polaris did this polaris warrantied them..my 11 pro hasnt had an issue with it...

Yeah that may be the way to go. I was wondering how the heck you guys up in AK were riding around in the dark all the time with a deal like this. Frustrating when a 12k sled with 100 miles on it doesn't have a properly functioning headlight assembly. It seems almost every sled has some issues so if that's the worst of it I'll consider myself very lucky.:pray2:
