2012 pro noise on chaincase side("Polaris the only sled that gets lighter as I ride"
I finally took my pro out in the fields today. I just thought I'd give a heads up if others hear the same noise to check here before opening the cover up.
I hear a noise sounding like a broken link on chain which I thought would be hard to believe with 80 miles on sled. Well, I notice the faster I go it stops mostly. (Sounded like worn pads on my truck).
The slower I went (crawling) it is very noticeable.(because bolt head was catching the holes more).
( note: case had never been apart) but this is the culprit and luckily I found it easy and nothing major.
