Only 700 miles, just gave up way in the middle of nowhere. Getting this sled out was an adventure on it's own. 2012 Polaris Pro RMK 800 163", stock.

Gonna call the dealer to see if its covered under 2nd yr warranty... If warranty doesn't cover this you think it can easily be welded up? It spins freely when I turn the secondary.

Last Polaris I own for sure, funny cause I was gonna buy a rzr this spring, but with all the issues with this sled I don't think Polaris is near the quality of the other ones.

Take it out, compress the shaft and weld it.
Side note I would drill 4 holes 3/16 in from the edge and fill with weld and do the same on the other side while it is out. This puts some weld in the overlap so it will never rotate.
That was what the 08 xps were doing. Never had a problem again. At least you can weld it.

Thanks. I talked to the dealer this morning and they're getting in touch with Polaris. If they don't cover it I'm gonna find someone to weld it like you said.

Samething happend to a MY11 PRO to us last year.
No problem getting a new except the delivery time to sweden.

the big problem with welding it is keeping the end perfectly true while welding this will be a challenge. if you could fixture it somehow in a jig while welding that might help. If its not true then you will have tight/slack in your chaincase.
