2012 cuts out when you sqeeze the throttle

I have a 2012 m1100t that always cuts out when you hit the the throttle fast from a dead stop or from a roll all the way to 60mph is this a normal safety feature or is something not right its all stock accept bikeman 2.25 exhaust and muffler

i would guess rev limiter. i would be it does not do it in deep snow? You likely need some different clutching.

Also, could be starvation. Upgraded fuel pump or surge tank a must over boosted.
