I'm still trying to figure out how in the year 2011 Yamaha can't figure out how to make even a sub 550-lb sled .... it just boggles my mind.
I mean they aren't even within 100 fricken pounds of the competition .... insane ....absolutley insane.

That you have to drop another 7-8k into to make it have any horsepower at all and then you can't boondock with it? Just sit on a hill and point and shoot all day? \o/ woo hoo.
My Nytro will boondock with you all day long, I like roostin through the trees just as much as climbin and jumpin!

He'd crap himself, he's a 125 HP at elevation kinda guy. Nothin scarey gonna happen there.
You know nothing of what is done to my sled or how it runs at elevation. I've yet to see anything that makes me crap myself, if you have something that will, bring it. But you ride HARLEYS, so one would assume that you don't.

Yamaha is MORONS! How can one company be SO far off base in creating a snowmobile when they have everything they need to produce the best one on the market? $15,000 for that?!? We have a serious drug problem in the world and it starts with the engineers at Yamaha. That is the best they could come up with? They need to stick to Pianos, where being heavy isn't that big of deal. I'm just dieing to go back to a 4-stroke Yamaha, but they need to come up with a real mountain sled.

negative ghost rider...IMO, real tree riding is like playing pinball.....and no, i dont believe a heavy sled can do this, turbo or not
also, what i would call "real tree riding" is much too hard to film...as you hardly have enough room to squeeze a sled around

She mentioned the cash, it was for the Fund I mentioned earlier. She said she didn't care what it cost as long as she didn't have to have to do you, but she does kinda feel sorry for ya, she's a nice lady.
so you are saying you ride in areas that are difficult for a sled but easy for a snowhawk or bike?
Shhhhh....don't tell anyone, but I found a super double secret video of Yamaha's 2012 mountain sled. WAY more advanced than the new 2011 Apex. They still haven't addressed the weight issue, but still looks pretty sweet. Here is just a couple features that will make you AMAZED:
