Does anyone know if that Fox Evol rear would be a good suspension for jumping? Im sure you could put the X shock in like the TS skid.

Dan Adams, Rob Hoff, Chris Burandt, Dan Gardiner and Jeremy Kinzer run the Timbersled Mountain Tamer Rear Suspension... are you going bigger than them?
If not, the proof is in the pudding... So yes... The X shock in the TS skid works well.
If you get the std RMK... and keep it non-turbo... upgrades in the shocks will give you better control over the sled.
