2011 Mods. What's everyone droolin' over?

oh ok ok. you guys really think this '11 motor is gonna need a fuel controller with only a pipe setup? The local dealer said the mapping was all that polaris had to get perfected on the dragons, so you would think they had that done?

From what I've heard if you put a pipe on the 2010 it didn't need the PVC. The PVC was to clean up the fat bottom end with the stocker. The cool part about the PVC is when it's coupled with the o2 sensor feature you can set it to say 12.1 fuel/air ratio and it will automatically adjust itself so it is always running at that ratio. THAT'S KEWL!

The 2011 demo I rode seemed to have a fat bottom end. The 2010 they made us compare it too did not????

the PCV wil only run the installed map you would need the Autotune to set the a/f and that will adjust a map for you then you take the auto tune off and the PCV runs the saved map

Im sure HPS will have a can out for these so thats going to be my first thing on the list. I want to see what the track is like on it, if it sucks, ill get a challenger extreme. Throw the pr tapers in the trash can, get a set of RSI bars and risers. Im going to get rid of that windshield and get a shorter one. Hard to say what it needs, but im sure the list will grow when i get some time on it!

i got my turn to ride one today, the snow was bad but its march, ill give it a little time next year but i think for me its going to be skis and a powder max, nice machine

I love how everyone is ditching the stock coilover shocks, before they ever see the sled in person.

Are the front shocks on the plain RMK's adjustable RydeFX shocks? even if they are, I was more than likely goin to be putting on a set of Fox Evol R's because of their adjustability and because I hold a higher expectation of the Fox's than the RydeFX shocks. Rear suspensions have always been a pain for me because I can't decide between buying a setup from someone for my weight and style or rebuilding stock shocks to my likeing.....I never did get to perfect my M8's rear suspension this winter:Cry: poor baby is down the road now

For over ten years now, the hot aftermarket rear suspension system was a coil-over setup. Now, Polaris comes with it stock, and you guys already want to pull it out. Whattup with that?

I'm just trying to decide which sled to trade in (and which one to keep for the wife) and what length track? Decisions.

I'm keeping the coilover suspension, just swapping out the front and rear shocks. Aftermarket shocks that are valved and set up for your riding style and weight are always 100% better than the stock shocks. I always thought it was a waste of money to upgrade shocks until I started doing it. Now I just plan on it every year and I actually get pretty god money for the stock shocks on ebay.

Muff pot
if it needs it PCV
camo-x prolly in a year or 2 along with fastrax d&r
hps can
mountian addiction 3.5 gallon gas rack and possibly the storage bag

i think i would put a boss seat and a wrap on it, and clutch/gear it and pipe it....sounds like burandt is really happy with the power but he also is getting paid. but as far as a turbo i would need a water/meth kit so i could run pump gas in sask...

I just need a handlebar bag and higher windshield (if they make them).

Does anyone know if Fox Evol R's from the Dragon will be the same size and work on the Pro models?

When I get one it will have a pump gas turbo, Floats, Powerclaw, SLP. P.P's, Vents and clutched...That is if Polaris does not beat me to this next year or the year after...:face-icon-small-win

Exhaust

Is anyone going to be able to produce a lighter can on these? An SLP can only saves you 4 1/2 lbs on last year's 800, and the new can weighs 7 lbs less than last year's 800. Is that right?

What do you guys think?

I don't think SLP will produce a pipe or can or combo that will reduce weight.
However I hope they will make one that improves performance.

Bug.... they will fit... Same C to C on the Dragon and Pro R... 17"

I thought the same thing and I measured them as well but, Carls told me that they are longer on the Pro Rode. I was also told Fox is working on a shock for it.
