2011 440 ramp vs 09~10 441 ramp

Thanks Joey, great response. Best to me means a ramp that works in all conditions without compromise of heating belt or over/under reving.

This is what I tried to achieve with the ramp I made.
Blend of two kick arse BRP ramps 415/441.
What I made was consumer driven, their feedback of ramps they have tried...ok, lets make a blend of all their data.

IMHO..

2008 clutching (not counting wrong belt/alignment issues)- primary close enough with pin weight change as needed...sec. helix (42) was gay...a simple 44 would have been 10 times better...46/42 maybe...

2009- clutching issues were "over rev" from the 2008 (42 cam)...an easy fix would have been just adding the 44 cam...but the 441 ramp is a sweety...add a 44 cam done...the 200 start spring is gay...if the 43/47 is what they wanted then the 413's coulda stayed (or even 415's)...didnt need both to control over rev...160 start spring...period.

2010- all the same just a 19 top gear on the 154's = gay...200 spring = gay...ugh!! who does this?? LOL

the CORRECT gearing for these sleds should read-

137 ren 1.75" track = 22/45
146 sum = 21/45
154 sum = 20/45
163 sum = 19/45

Is it that hard??-BJ:D

This rant doesnt reflect the clutching guys in the thread...JUST what DOO coulda done BETTER from the factory...:light:

My 08 came with 21 top gear originally so changing to a 20 was easy. My question is "Now that the 154 comes stock with a 19 tooth, do they come with a long enough chain to accomodate a bigger gear?"

Thanks

Chris
