Never wasn't....

It's been a kick to see that the snow never left the W/B alpine level. Horstman is one thing, but the saddle??? I've never heard of the snow sticking around like that...

I'm heading up for a tour on Husume tuesday. Will post a trip report!
Also Mineshaft pub also posted they received a foot of snow on the hurley today!!!
For the next two weeks lets make a promise to not talk about snow. Must...nut...jinx...early............winte.......

damn! whistler snow report say's almost 2 feet at pig alley with more snow to come this week! how far would i have to drive up the road at brandy to go for a road ride on friday??

was at brohm today. drove 7km up the road and unloaded. big mistake we should have drove to about 11 km. snow wet and heavy and not much up there. if you are going be careful of land mines

Ya, im waiting for the snow to be at the top of the first post on the stairs on the webcam before i go.

I did go for a first ride with Rob today. Unloaded at 7km and it was very thin for the first 1km until the tower. I think going up from cat lake side might be a bit better early season (we went up squamish mills).

Pretty socked in today so stayed around the cabin. Very thin compared to the same time last year (i probed at 65cm in most spots). Need about 3 more feet for it to be decent.

Still good to be out though...........(it was dumping up there when we left)

Hey....I was the guy on the 2012 XP talking to you at the cabin. Cat Lake Road was nasty coming back down. I parked at mid station directly under the concrete shack. Coming down I was sliding up to about 100 feet in places in my truck in 4 x 4 low. Won't be riding until we get at least a couple more feet. Forecast looks promising for this week though...

Glad you made it down safely and we thought you had the right idea going up cat lake since the ride up to the tower was pretty painful from where we unloaded.
