2011-2012 Revelstoke Conditions

was there last fri till tuesday.......snowing so hard and retarded deep. fri-sat was 4 feet deep easily, trying to punch into turtle... M8 PC on 8 LBS boost to the bars all day long and another turbo M8 with me poaching each others tracks and only made it a mile up the cut block.. To the bars on the downhill or you would lose your sled literally!! Raining down low mon-tues and REALLY heavy and deep up till like 5400 FT and fluffed up again....So depends on rain and how hot up top this week really
 
Started out pretty good this am but it warmed up and the snow started to get heavy by the end of the day. It was raining when we left Revy for sicamous hopefully there will be fresh in the morning
 
Rode 2 of the less popular spots the past 2 days.......deep deep deep. Not a track in front of us. 2' first day and 3+' the second day. It was another one of those, can't see crap, but the riding was epic kinda days :)

the big bowls and open area are pretty wind blowen but still deep today . If you like trees its great right now . It rained pretty far up the mountains around here last week and with this new snow theres stuff sliding off the crust from the rain .A few close calls this weekend in some of the lower riding areas around town .
 
We will roll out of Idaho Falls on Monday Morning and stop in either MISSOULA or COLUMBIA FALLS depending on road conditions / Traffic.

Should be in Revelstoke sometime Tuesday mid-day or early afternoon.

You can't go to Revy and not dine at Zalas,they have some of the best food in all of BC.
If you are going to have a beer they have a big limo and will pick you up and drop you off.
 
Not to barge in but wouldn't mine hooking up. Two of us are headed to Revy this Saturday for the week and wouldn't mine a tour. Let me know thanks.
 
i would be very very suprised if the snow is not really really good based on the weather we have be getting on the coast
 
hey guys,

sooo 4 of us Montucky guys are headin to Revvy thursday afternoon and are planning on riding friday, saturday and maby sunday. anyone have any suggeestions on where to go? none of us have ever been riding up there and are finally getting the chance!...just not sure where to ride lol. if ya got any suggestions on where to head please point us in the right direction! does anyone know what the weather is looking like for the weekend?
