2011-2012 Revelstoke Conditions

Thanks a lot for the advice on where to ride. Frisby was amazing. Rode yesterday, over the windshield.

Just spent the last 5 days riding the revelstoke area. the snow was great, over the windshield in the trees, rained in town everyday and snowed up top. took us 2 days to punch into the alpine in one area and once in there we never heard or seen a sled all day. well worth all the work, here is a few short vids enjoy. :face-icon-small-hap

Heading out thursday.......looks like lots of snow! Cant wait to start boosting again!

Revy - Dec27-29

We rode Frisby for a couple days and snow conditions were great! 3 feet of powder on 6 feet of base. Visibility was bad....but that's the price for fresh stuff. Snowing like a bugger when we left so there is likely way more pow now.:face-icon-small-coo

Boulder or Frisby - Wed Jan 11th

Two of us are planning to head up on Jan 11th. Rest of our group won't be here for another two days, so we are looking to join another group for a few more bodies for a day of Riding. Forecast looks good. Sun with Fresh Snow. We are staying at the Sandman.

Around a foot of fresh with a harder layer underneath. No sun the last couple days hopefully pokes out tomorrow. Warmer weather set up the snow

As of Sunday when we left Revvy, there was about 8-12" of fresh in the trees and had a great time. It was really socked in on Sunday though so we did not get up top. If you like the tress and meadows then I would say conditions were great. They are calling for a fair bit of snow today (monday) then clearing up and sunny for Tuesday/Wednesday.

Sunday was awesome. Thick Thick Fog on the ridgeline...pointed skis to the top of lake drop and settled in. Once we were 500' below the ridge the vis was real good. Rode back to the Bowling lanes, lakes, Helicopter Bowl, and on to Turbo via low road. Darko's, Trotts and I had a great ride for the vis that was presented. 100k, 1-2' of freshy in the trees and we were happy :)
