2010 Polaris sleds in Utah

Ok, Mafia, get out there with those cameras. A little birdy told me today that Polaris has rolled in to Utah ahead of next weeks photo shoot and press intro with the 2010 sleds. And they have a brand new, "completely different", chassis. My source says flatland version only so if you see the sleds on the trail/mountain pay close attention to the short tracks.

I'll buy dinner for anyone who can post a photo of it on the snow here in Utah by this weekend.

Problem is if we go get photos and post them then it could endanger the future of Daniels for Polaris Prototype testing. We got photos last year and I got a few "calls" and there were some black helicopters over my house within minutes. We dont want them moving their test facility to idaho do we? Better to just accidently bump into them up there while riding :) I did hear also that they had this new radical flatlander design which sounded like the sled that Scott posted in general.

The post in General is of an old picture that has been around since '05.

It will be interesting to see what they bring out.

If we don't get any spy photos of the sleds than what good is it having them here in Utah? :)

I think they would be lying at the end of the day to say they didn't like it......it is free publicity and hype to all the guys who are going to buy the product.

Not to mention all the manufacturers test in public places, Daniels Summit, Togwotee Lodge, Those are 2 for Polaris and CAT so they can't not but expect to have some footage get out there.

Camera on........

I have heard the same...Flat land for 2010 and MTN for 2011:)

I hope its smooooooth cause Im getting old:(

When we had pics last year the westrn reg rep called me and very kindly asked me not to post them. He said Daniels could lose Polaris' business and people could lose jobs. I wouldnt want anyone to cause me to lose my job so I told him I wouldnt post them and I didnt. I also wouldnt want to hurt Daniels, I really like that place. I would go see them and take pics and keep them to myself but I like the fact that we can sneak up there every year so I hope no one gets pics and posts them.

I have a hard time believing that Polaris (or any reputable company) would fire people or blame a Lodging facility for CHOOSING to test sleds in an area that the public may see or take pictures of their prototypes. If they really would do that, it would be super lame. I think the REP may just have been trying to use some leverage to his advantage. They would have no one to blame but themselves. There are plenty of private ranches that they could test on without worry of the public catching glimpses or photos of prototypes. Just my .02 cents. Maybe you should have offered polaris to purchase the pictures back from you.;)

Never mind, I'll just go see it for myself. Got a call today, invited up Tuesday to take a peak. I'll let you all know what I see unless the rep asks me to keep quiet.

Yes they could go to some private ranch, my point exactly.

And offering photos for money, lets see what do they call that again? Na, Ill pass on that one. I personally appreciate the big 4 and want them to stay around. In this economy Im worried we could lose a few of them.

Nothing to see here folks, just 2010 Polaris's keep moven' along....BTW I know exactly the area where they do the photo shoots, and I am taking offers:D....all kidding aside. Hey Freak, nice phazer in your profile photo, I took our 85PM (85PhazerMod) out last weekend with the fam and those things kick butt (unless your on a poorly groomed trail, i.e Payson canyon...WTH) Here's a free news flash for you Polaris and all the others guys for that matter, the day they make an 800 as light as the 85 Phazer snowmobiling will then be perfected. We got that thing stuck a few times and man I could manhandle that thing with one hand behind my back! I love those sleds.:face-icon-small-ton

Morphing thread...

Phazers are the bomb. I have a Phazer Mountain for my 11 year old. Stick an 11 year old boy who weighs 90lbs and has no fear on a Phazer and it will scare you what it can do.
