2010 Nytro SE

Yamaha Motor Canada will have one at the Big Iron Shootout in Revelstoke, B.C. March 14th for demos. Come find us for your personal opportunity:)
RS

you guys having any rides in the north this year randy would love to try it,just cant see myself driving over 20hours to possibly not be able to get on the hill.

How about the track? Did it fold over like last years Maverick? My wife rode a demo sled on groomed trails for a weekend last year and the Maverick was all folded over. POS in my opinion.

same track we sat in the dealer meating the video said it was a new track the rep corrected it and said same maverick

why dont you fly? I will buy all you can drink and you can ride my spare dragon?

Yamaha must have bought 5,000,000 of those POS tracks. Hated it. I'd rather buy a Nytro withOUT a track and have it discounted.

15x162x2.25-inch Single-ply Camoplast® Maverick™ track
Yamaha and Camoplast® collaborated in the development of the Maverick™ track. The 15x162x2.25-inch track uses a new durable single-ply design with a 3-inch pitch to allow more snow to pack in between the lugs for a firmer grip on the snow. Also, the lugs are extremely varied in design and profile for even more traction in multiple snow conditions. Yamaha engineers tried many different track designs and configurations, but none could consistently outperform this new Maverick™.

Wouldn't this be a different track? Please, please don't tell me that it is the same POS. Please, please don't tell me that it is the same POS. Please, please don't tell me that it is the same POS. OK, I feel a little better now, but Yammi advertises it as a new for 2010 track:confused:

There is some confusion on the track. The standard Nytro MTX with the 153 is the same Maverick we have all grown to love. The 162 SE is an ALL NEW TRACK. It has a different durometer and design. It is a single ply so it is lighter and is supposed to aleviate the folding over that is so common on the Nytro now.

would love to take you up on that offer:beer;:beer; but doubt i can even get that time off.:mad:it would be cheaper for me to drive too ,you would crap if you seen what a plane ticket cost up here.

RACINSTATION - are you going to get any '10 SE's to demo?

Do you guys think the new frontend angles will prevent steering darting. I have the 2008 and it darts pretty good and will scare you. Mine has 1 mile on it when it threw me of the sled and broke my back. I was going about 35-40 mile hour when it happen. so I have been looking at the new angles that Yamaha has put into the 2010 machines as it looks like they have changed the castor angle by 4 deg to prevent darting.
I am thinking that maybe I can can out the spindals with the 2010 model. Please comment. As I would like to fix this problem as it will be a little hard to get back on the machine.

Track wasn't folded over on the one I rode. New track from what I could see. No, it doesn't hook up like my 162 x 2.5 Camo Extreme but then againit probably won't get stuck in the icy parking lot either.

I have heard the 2010 front end will bolt right on.
We went with the 09 front end on our 08 FX Nytro 121, I think with everything we needed it was just under a $1000. Big difference in front end feel. You can now hold it wide open on the lake or railroad grade and its as stable as anything out there in our opinion. Our doo and cat buddies agreed.

Im thinking about the 2010 front end on our 2009 MTX's. Acording to guys who have ridden it, it sounds like a must have. Although if an aftermarket company were to build one it would probably be lighter and cheaper than the stock OEM parts.

The front end fits right on the 08, 09 sleds, we have been putting on short track se front ends on mtx's all winter, spendy but doable.

I know Yamaha advertised they were only putting the new front end on the trail sleds but when my buddy parked his 08' MTX next to my 09' MTX there is a NOTICABLE difference. Did yamaha change their mind a put a new front end on the 09's??

According to "corporate Yamaha", who I spoke to today, the track on the SE are new - challenged him and he was steadfast that this is a new track!
