Note to AC - You almost got me to trade in my two M8 Nightfires on new black LEs until I saw the slide rails and front suspension. It's either all black or not. What the heck is this raw aluminum, silver paint stuff? Not liking the 2008/09 LE halfbreed of colors.

Looks like it's time for BDX rear bumpers to freshen up the Nightfires along with PC tracks and wait for the 2011s. Yes, it is all about black.

Seat looks funny to me. Maybe I'll get used to it.
Same sled as the 09' if you ask me.
The power is the only good thing that I see worthy. You can't tell me the HCR will out perform the standard M8 in most conditions. Not sure why they even came out with it. And for the matter why is there soooo many models??
I do like the black though!! Thats why I bought the standard M8, so I could have black.

finally getting closer to a motocross seat. Maybe with a better suspension design, sleds wouldnt need 12 inches of foam in the seat.

If the new seat will bolt onto any M it might be an option over the $800.00 Canadian they want for a Boss seat.

so an 800 with 160 HP, couldnt find what the 1000 has, do they not list it cuz its too close to the 800. I know my 07 only has 162 and probably an extra 50 lbs on it!

You'll be able to buy one for cheap after everyone switches to the boss icedog. i still like the boss way more alot better storage, they should have put support brackets on them they would have looked better and been stronger for the seat and possibly the tunnel.
