2010 m8 airbox recommendations

curious about maybe a bdx airbox and wondering if there are any cons going that route? also does anyone see a reason why not to pop out the foam on the hood and side panels?

Take the foam out for sure. I just put the bdx intake on my 09 hcr, and love it. Heat tape all around the cover so no snow gets in the top. I also glued up all the cracks around the bumber and nose piece, so no snow gets in there ether. I filled it full of snow, and now barely any gets in, and still working on all the cracks. The weight loss is great, and throttle response is great.
