The seat mounts to the two rear bolts on your gas tank. The seat comes with two new bolts and hardware. We installed one on a 06' M7 and a 07' M1 with the bolts that were already used to secure rear of the tank. They are a pain to get out from the underside of the tunnel without removing the track. Just cover the mounts in the new seat with the bushings/curved washers that were used on top of tank before nut.
Seats are great, except for area now uncovered on the tunnel were the old seat was. Needs polished up. I have a bunch of pics of sled with old and then new Cat seats, but I left my camera with the sleds in storage. Have to go back before I can post them here for ya.

ordered mine today for my xfire. hope it fits good. Btw, ordered it from michelle aka free agent and I am very impressed with not only her willingness to help and answer questions but also her expertise. Easily the best parts person I've ever talked to over the phone!!!

She is awesome for sure, I don't think people understand until they work with her the first time. I ordered my seat from her as well and here it is!

so what's the retail price on one of these? i have a boss but love the height and feel of these, sat on one yesterday.

I haven't ordered one yet but, I have dealt with Michelle quite a bit in the last year. I can honestly tell you the deals she gives are more than fair. The fact that many items are drop shipped diect from the factory and in my case directly from Klim, means she is willing to go the extra mile to keep us all happy.
Based on past experience, my guess (and it's only a guess) is if the seats retail for $300, she sells them right in the $240ish range or less, maybe $260ish shipped to your door?
It sure looks like there should be plenty of folks on here that can tell you the cost exactly (based on shipping distance).

Received a call from my cat dealer yesterday. They said the black seats had finally arrived. Yahooo.
