I Think the big reliablity issue have been solved with the 2010 updates. I haven't heard the same bad stories this yr as last and my 08 went the entire season on a single topend. I did a leak down test and it was in great shape. Before the 2010 updates I went thought 3 top ends in 09. I think Polaris has gotten most of the issue resolved and the engine reliabity issue is as good or better then some of the other sled now.

My 2010 D8 is a flat RIPPER. With a few minor mods its been an absolute blast to ride. Let some friends ride it in Revy last week and they were blown away and absolutely fell in love with this machine. These friendd were riding 2010 tm8's, stock 2010 m8, Tapex, T860 Xp, XP's with mods and they couldnt believe how flawless it was. 8400 at 54mph track speed at 7500' will suprise just about anybody. Buy the 2010, the 2010 sleds seem to be as problem free as the competitors
