Thanks for the update - hope the weather warms some so I can try it out too. Tumbler is good but I hear much more in the pass.

RMR club put it in did they? Right on, we all appreciate, I am sure. Where are they based out of? Prince George I suppose? Thanks to them.

I wasn't one of them but it was the Snowmobile club in Mackenzie:face-icon-small-coo

Handsome we rode Morphy yesterday. It was good and deep definently worth checking, the people there were great to ride with too.

I haven't run into you yet, but I bet there's a good chance I've seen you out. What sled do you ride?

Going out this weekend for an overnighter. I wonder if Tumbler has any good spots yet... The Pass sounds like a sure thing but is a little harder to overnight at.

Rode Hassler on Monday deep bottomless snow. Hasnt set up. Personally I have no interest until more depth shows up. We ended up at the bottom of the backside of aluminum bowl ravine with a pile of drunks who fawked the trail up. Met 2 good guys in that bunch that were excellent backcountry partners. Thanks to Chad and Doug. Damon

rode hasler today and she was alittle wind blowen other then that was alright riding is riding to me can have fun any day on a sled

hit hassler and beaver on the 26 and 27 it was pretty awesome lots of snow to get stuck in knocked down a decent sized avy she deffinetly has some dangerous layers out there not enough snow for anything huge, and is fluffy enoungh that it comes down pretty slow but if some one would have been at the bottom stuck they would have been burried.careful out there dont need anymore flack from the ol lady or parents about how dangerous sledding is

We were in Hassler Sat and Sun (1st, 2nd) and the snow was great. There was definitely a hard base this time. You could easily walk around and lots of hook-up. The only problem is that it was almost entirely tracked up. There was some good spots here and there, especially in the trees if you could find them, but we need some fresh snow to erase all the tracks. Badly. This winter is continuing to suck snow-wise! But it was still good times and we had a blast. But there's no arguing that the base has now set up.

The lighting sure sucked though! Very white. A couple of pics for ya below.

Has anyone been to Beaver Creek lately?

Went to Hasler again this weekend and it was pretty kick ***. Just had a dump of snow and most of the old tracks were completely gone. It was windy so it was a little cold someplaces and visibility was crap (again), but the snow was drifted a lot so it was pretty fun! Definitely worth checking out.

The trail the goes all the way around was not punched through yet BTW, and there were definitely some places that shouldn't be attempted yet. Still 5ft or so below normal snowfall. The meadows are wicked though in the meantime.

Rode pk Sunday an was awesome. 3+ feet of fresh pow pow and man playing In the trees has never been so much fun. Could see much when u were out in the open but in them thier trees wicked. We unloaded at the under pass at 10:00am a little late for us but hey snowing heavily All the way from John. Burned a full tank of fuel In only 35 miles. Deep boys real deep good solid base aswell. Got back to truck at 7:15pm and started for home hiway had 8"+ and no tracks for 20-30 miles then we get told that there has been an avy and cant get home tonight. Well we had to see this impassable hiway. And horse s?!t not impassable the dodge dually squeezed right by both slides and we were home by 11:00pm what a site knuckle drive

Sounds like quite the trek. That's what makes them memorable, right? You guys are real troops - it must have been COLD too. I hate cold riding because the googles always fog up, but you sure get the whole area to yourself.

Good to hear about the avy. I can't believe it's finally that time again. Thanks for sharing about the trip. Looking forward to going to Tumbler on Wednesday. Hopefully there will be 3ft+ there too!

noted fred but i was there and could see that there was no snow left on that mountain.i think it was more dangerous first thing in the morning.we assest the risks and saw no danger so onward we go. all the snow from the mountain was all ready on the road.. thanks for the wisdom fred.... we all take risks and that makes us better men. take my riding if i don't push myself every time i get on my sled. then i am wasting time and money. when i can be out there giving er 150% everyday.. make the most of everyday boys because you never know when this ride is going to end..
