Any updates? On the 12th I was told guys were taking quads with trailers and pulling their sleds up as far as they could due to no snow on the trails yet. Anybody been up?

No personal experience, but I know some guys from Fort St John went to the pass this weekend and said there is "enough to get around". Looks like we're still waiting...

went on sat to check it out,not enough to go from the under pass yet.maybe 3 to 4 inches good if you want to go on a quad.QUOTE]

You guys didn't try hard enough. There was certainly more than 3 to 4 inches. Went with a pretty big crew on sunday, Shane Stainger (sp?) from twisted turbos was along helping some friends set up their sleds, trail up was rough definately needs more snow but we made it into the cabin from bijoux overpass without incident. had enough pow to not hit bottom all day but definately not much for base

Just went through the pass this weekend and took a few quick snaps with my phone. Judging from the "OK" amounts of snow at the base I'd say the hills must be sweet. Just need to get my riding partners convinced...

Bijoux conditions

Went into Bijoux Sat. Not much snow at the bottom lots of stumps and trees. A few of the small hills have had all the snow spun off of them leaving them slippery. Typical early season conditions there. Up top by the cabin there was 3-4ft (4 probably optimistic) but the meadows were fun. The snow has not settled yet so watch out for little tree graveyards. Good enough for a ride if you gota scratch the itch but not great riding yet. Weeks weather is looking promising and if that turns into a good dump of snow it will be alot better riding.

No idea if they are in, but those bridges were not looking so hot last spring, that's for sure. Hopefully some kind trapper did some repair. I did see some tracks going in that way when I drove through the pass last weekend.

Are you saying that they remove them over summer? Perhaps to keep them from washing away?
