think i just made the deal 09 chev crew LTZ leather-trade for $16000 with my GM earnings--trade is a cloth 06 LT 35000 miles--

I sold mine private....06 leather with 50000miles and upgraded for 10 diff...was back around labour day...they had some good rebates on then...what does the truck cash out for?

2009 retail is 52500---my 06 was 38500--probably 10000 difference in options--might pick it up tonite

whats cash price....from cloth to leather is usually 2500 bucks....my 08 with everything but nav and a roof was 39500USD.....

They are great trucks, mileage is in line with what everyone is saying, I prefer the dash layout of the LTZ, it is setup like the Tahoe, Av, Sub. Have seen almost no problems with this truck. Be careful of any mods on that engine, the pcm has means of identifying any aftermarket programming, and in the event of any engine type warranty failures they will require a snapshot of the programming before repairs. I am a service manager in a chevy store so I have seen it happen. Any questions feel free to pm me, its a slow day at work.

thinkin of trading the 06 in on a 09 crew with leather--any comments--fuel mileage ???if you drive a ford ar dodge you need not comment--but thanks for lookin--very happy with my 06 crew d-max but the rebates and deals are real good

My 06 was a much better truck then my 07 1/2 millage was a solid 3mpg better all around. The 07 1/2 has more power but lots of problems like wind noise,leaking trans,electric seats stopped working, 5 times to the shop before it was fixed. The ride is as stiff as a 1 ton. I payed 47,000 for mine but that was before things tanked. I just chipped it with a stealth 2 and we will see if millage improves. The power increase was impressive but increase millage is what I'm after. Good luck.....

Nice truck, I am sure that you will like it, the mileage will improve about 10,000 miles and again at 20-25. Is that place still owned by Rod Garvin?

great looking truck!! Do not chip unless you plan on yanking off the exhaust. you will have more problems with the dpf then you care to deal with(regen or plug up). I've got the quadzilla with edge, mbrp turbo back exhaust and probably getting between 19-21 mpg emtpy. with a trailer, I haven't calculated yet, but I'm guessing around 10 mpg. it don't matter if it's a big or small trailer, pretty much the same mileage.
