Not if you just plug it in and go. 
The (any) box would allow you to lean out your bottom end, and the rest of the throttle if you so choose.
It's an efi, I don't think you'll ever get it to feel as crisp as your sled. But you can make it better.

RKT head will make a big difference as far as avoiding the bog & getting the bottom end back.
I had an 07 M8, ran fat as hell, then added RKT head (14.1:1 @ 10k+) it still ran fat, but ran great for 2500 miles with no issues after that.
There is NO reason to throw a BD box on an M8, total waste IMHO.
Check your fuel pressure like Jim said.
