2007 M8 Electric start

Looking for an electric start kit for a 2007 M8. Cat says they only make one for 2008 and newer. Will the newer kit work on a 2007? Thanks in advance for the help.

i thought they did not make any for the 8's only 600 and down.

my dealer said they didn't make one for the m-8, only the m-6, that's what he said when i tried to get one for my wifes' sled...
